No. But very, very few houses in the mountains have air conditioning because there is simply no need! In the summer, the day temps average the mid-70s and the night temps, low 50s. During the warmer months, we recommend opening the windows in the evenings and early morning to allow the fresh Colorado mountain air in and get a nice cool cross breeze throughout the home. If you feel that just isn't enough, our home is equipped with fans.

Yes! Just contact us directly or through the platform and we will take care of it. We will determine together whether it is an issue that needs to be dealt with right away or if it is something that can wait. If needed, we have engaged a local company who is on call 24 hours a day should a maintenance issue arise during your stay with us. Check out our Guidebook for more information.

We aim to provide a fully-stocked house (kitchen appliances, baby gear, cooking essentials, games and books) so you only need to purchase food and other specialty items during your stay. Visit our Amenities page or contact us for more detailed information. If we don’t have an item already and it is likely something future guests will appreciate, we may even purchase it for the home prior to your stay!

Yes, we enforce a minimum age of 25 years old for the booking guest. One adult over 25 is required for every 4 persons under 35 as families with children are allowed. If your group does not meet this requirement upon check-in, we reserve the right to not allow a check-in and lodging fee will be forfeited.

Not at all! We’ve contracted with local snow removal experts who will plow the driveway and shovel the outside common areas as needed (typically if 4 inches have accumulated over a 24 hour period). They typically visit the home in the early hours so we recommend using the heated garage on snow storm days to keep the driveway clear for a successful snow clearing.
-
We have a two-bay heated garage in addition to parking for 2-3 additional cars in the driveway. Though, in the winter months we recommend parking in the garage as much as possible so we can plow the driveway.

Yes, Breckenridge is located in a High Alpine Environment and a 4WD or AWD vehicle is required in the Winter months (November through April).

There is no shortage of things to do in Breckenridge, anytime of year. GoBreck.com is an amazing resource for activities and events in Breck.

The town of Breckenridge (and the home) sits at 9,600 feet above sea level. As you go to higher altitudes, the barometric pressure decreases, the air thins, and oxygen is less available which can lead varying degrees of “altitude sickness” in certain people. The air is also dryer and the ultraviolet rays from the sun are stronger.

Average winter temperatures settle around the mid-30s, getting lower at night, with very low-humidity. As springtime nears, those temperatures increase slightly but the strong sun can make cold days feel even warmer. Enjoy summer-time spent outdoors with average daily temperatures in the high 70s which fall to cool 50-degree nights perfect for a hot tub soak. Summer often brings brief rain in the afternoons as well. In the fall, expect between 50 and 60 degrees during the day and 35 to 40 degrees at night.
Colorado weather is always fluctuating, so we recommend you pack and dress in layers. Skiing in short sleeves and jackets during the summer is not abnormal!

For in-town shopping, we recommend City Market (a Kroger brand) for standard groceries and City Liquors (located next door) for Alcohol. Whole Foods and Natural Grocers also have locations in nearby Frisco, CO.
